Attention: T&E Employees Held for Engineer Work
Please be advised that abeyance code OA01 has been assigned to the issue of off assignment (OA) claims when an employee is held for ESB work. The abeyance code will apply to employees making OA claims over what was provided for in the December 5, 2018 Bulletin #053-18. Specifically, a claim to a second tour of duty of your conductor’s turn during the period which you were held for and/or worked as an ESB.
Recently the company has been demanding that members write down and sign a hand written statement following an incident before being released from duty. This is a new procedure and is not within the parameters of our respective Collective Agreements.
